Eric Bischoff, host of the hit podcast Bischoff on Wrestling, has spent the last 25 years in the entertainment industry. During this time Eric has produced over 2,500 hours of original programming (over half of it live), 79 Pay-Per-View events that generated more than $300mm in revenue, Executive Produced two made for TV movies, produced over 1,500 live events around the world, and his book “Controversy Creates Cash” made the New York Times Best Seller list in the fall of 2007.
Known as the man who built World Championship Wrestling into a global sports media property, Bischoff now focusses on the creation and production of television content. Currently a partner in Los Angeles based Bischoff Hervey Entertainment Television LLC, Eric is teamed with long time friend and business partner Jason Hervey (of ABC’s Emmy Award winning series: The Wonder Years). BHE TV launched in 2003, and since that time has produced television series and pilots for NBC, A&E, VH-1, CMT, E! Network, and TruTV to name a few.
Prior to launching Bischoff Hervey Entertainment Television, Eric joined long time competitor Vince McMahon in 2002 to be an on air character on the highly successful USA Network Series “RAW”. Eric spent 4 years with WWE before focusing all his energies on Bischoff Hervey Entertainment Television and his podcast, Bischoff on Wrestling.
